School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Camarillo, California
Step into a rewarding, contract-based opportunity working with preschoolers as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting several school sites in a vibrant, collaborative educational environment. This full-time position starts as soon as possible and runs through June 17, 2026—perfect for those passionate about working with children ages 3-5 and eager to make an impact at the foundational stage of learning. You’ll join an experienced SLP already on site, ready to partner and share caseload responsibilities with up to 50 students, ensuring the highest quality of care.
Those with a background in pediatric speech-language pathology, clinical fellowship (CFY) experience, or knowledge in both educational and healthcare settings will thrive here. If you have interest or proficiency in teletherapy, that’s a plus! The school sites are also looking for Occupational Therapy support, opening doors for collaborative teamwork across disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome
- Experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to preschoolers (ages 3-5)
- Assess, diagnosis, and develop treatment plans for students on your caseload
- Work collaboratively with fellow SLPs, OTs, teachers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain appropriate documentation
- Rotate among multiple school sites as needed
