School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Oxnard, California

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschool students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist working with ages 3-5. You'll collaborate alongside another experienced SLP and be immersed in a vibrant school environment focused on early intervention, communication development, and multidisciplinary teamwork. This role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 17, 2026, offering full-time hours across multiple school sites and the chance to positively impact the lives of up to 50 young learners.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Possess (or eligible for) California SLP licensure, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or ASHA CCC credentials; SLPA candidates with school or healthcare experience considered
- Expertise in pediatric or preschool speech-language evaluations and therapy
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms, such as Google Meet
- Previous experience in school settings or with early childhood caseloads is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration skills; eager to work closely with other related service providers, like OT
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation for preschool-aged students
- Provide speech/language interventions across up to 50-student caseload at several sites
- Collaborate with another SLP for support and case management
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams, including OTs, to address student needs holistically
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families and teachers
- Utilize teletherapy as needed for meetings or service delivery
This contract position values your expertise and commitment to early childhood education. Conduct interviews from the convenience of your own space via Google Meet next week. Please note: the school observes a spring break March 30-April 10, 2026.
