A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Sunnyvale, CA, on a contract basis to cover a vacancy. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in school-based and pediatric speech therapy, including those with CCC credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to elementary school students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student communication needs.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer additional support as required outside regular hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification, preferably with CCC credentials.
- Experience working in school and pediatric settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and intervention strategies.
- Ability to manage caseload and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Location & Schedule:
- Sunnyvale, CA
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Additional hours required for IEP meetings and student support after school
- Contract position starting at the end of January
