Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Clara, CA
Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist providing coverage for a maternity leave. Your expertise will be essential as you:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs and educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and timely reporting in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Provide consultative support and guidance to teaching staff and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success across settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for each student
- Adjust interventions as needed, with flexibility to support a Tony VBD if caseload needs fluctuate or shift
Desired qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- California state licensure or eligibility to obtain state certification
- Prior pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
