If you're passionate about providing Part B and Part C summer support, this opportunity allows you to work closely with a manageable caseload—starting with around five children—with the potential to bring your expertise to new referrals as they arise throughout the season.
Your Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP license for the state of Minnesota
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) in progress
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Experience or comfort working with children ages birth through kindergarten and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A collaborative, flexible, and compassionate approach
As a valued contributor, you will:
- Deliver assessment and intervention services for a small group of children, nurturing their communication skills
- Support both Part B and Part C early intervention services, adjusting your approach to meet individualized needs
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s goals
- Complete required documentation and progress reporting in a timely manner
- Remain adaptable, taking on new referrals and adjusting your caseload as needed over the summer
- Bring creativity and positivity to all interactions, fostering a supportive environment for young children and their families
