Remote Speech Therapy in NC
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services, licensed in North Carolina. This role involves working across multiple educational settings to deliver comprehensive speech therapy for students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, with a primary focus on K-5.
Location: Burnsville, NC
Contract Duration: August 6, 2026 – June 2, 2027
Hours: 37.5 per week; 5 days per week
Number of Openings: 1
Caseload Size: Approximately 40-50 students
School Sites: Services will be provided across 3 school sites, including a Headstart program and a private school student receiving speech services
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy tailored to individual student needs across varied age groups
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records using ECATS
- Complete required IEP documentation, including related service components, present levels, goals, and service times
- Serve as case manager for students with Speech Impairment as their only IEP category, overseeing all paperwork, scheduling, and facilitating IEP meetings
- Coordinate with educational teams to support student progress and compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of North Carolina
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Completion of the DHHS Pre-K background check
- Experience providing speech therapy services (telepractice experience beneficial)
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with IEP processes
