We are seeking two passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for an Extended School Year (ESY) program close to San Mateo, CA. This is a contract opportunity perfect for those ready to quickly make an impact.
Two distinct openings are available:
- One SLP will provide direct services to students, helping them advance their speech and language skills through individualized and group sessions.
- Another SLP will focus on Pre-K assessment, evaluating and recommending intervention strategies for our youngest learners.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school-based settings
- Strong background in conducting speech/language assessments and developing treatment plans
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and collaborative approaches with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
- Prior experience with ESY programs or early childhood assessments a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted therapy or assessment services as assigned
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Develop and implement IEP goals and document progress
- Provide insightful recommendations rooted in best practices
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
