What you’ll need to succeed:
- Valid and active Florida SLP Licensure, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language therapy preferred
- Familiarity with K-8 or high school caseloads, including working with students on the autism spectrum (ASD)
- Ability to quickly complete district credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
- Effective communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Positive, adaptable, and student-centered approach
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to assigned caseload (either K-8 or high school, depending on assignment)
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation
- Participate in team meetings and share strategies to support student success
- Carry out services on-site in accordance with assignment requirements
