Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-age students within a school environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong time management and recordkeeping abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations for students, developing comprehensive assessments
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services onsite to elementary students
- Collaborate with education teams, participating in IEP meetings and progress reviews
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports as required
- Educate and provide resources for teachers and families to support carryover of skills in the classroom and at home
This contract opportunity features a commitment of 32.5 hours per week, functioning entirely onsite. It’s an excellent fit for experienced SLPs seeking a meaningful, long-term impact with the K-6 population in a highly supportive school environment.
