Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hamtramck, MI

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting is beneficial
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
What You’ll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Work with a caseload of 30-40 elementary students, delivering direct and consultative services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school community
This contract position offers a consistent schedule with 32.5 hours per week, running from your start date through June 18, 2027. You’ll have the chance to build relationships over time, work with a manageable caseload, and see the impact you make each day.
