Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing speech therapy services in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 30-40 elementary students, addressing IEP goals and supporting overall academic success
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions for students with speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with IEP requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and consultations with teachers and parents
- Provide input and support for classroom teachers in implementing communication strategies into daily instruction
