This contract opportunity offers the chance to deliver impactful interventions to a caseload of 30-40 students in-person at a local elementary school.
Key Qualifications:
- Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role, especially with elementary populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, addressing a variety of communication needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), track progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
- Participate in meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and share expertise with school personnel
This in-person position is scheduled for 32.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 18, 2027. You will be working closely with passionate educators and families, making a tangible difference in your students' ability to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
