This contract opportunity is ideal for certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who have a passion for supporting students’ growth and communication skills across all grade levels—from Pre-K and Kindergarten through Elementary, Middle, and High School.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state license and ASHA certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience or interest in working with early childhood, pre-school, and school-aged populations (grades K–12)
- Strong understanding of developmental milestones and speech/language disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to delivering individualized therapy and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students across diverse age groups
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal-setting and progress reviews
- Collaborate with classroom staff and families to maximize student support
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to reinforce communication skills
