Step into a vital role supporting students' communication needs as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This in-person contract opportunity serves a K-12 student population in multiple buildings. The assignment comprises an "easy" caseload with predominantly high school and elementary students, all presenting low behavioral concerns. Key Qualifications:
- Active, current Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA CCC
- Experience working in school settings (elementary and/or high school experience highly valued)
- Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort with working across multiple school buildings
- Commitment to an in-person role—no virtual or hybrid options permitted
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to each student in your assigned caseload
- Conduct assessments, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Travel between buildings as needed within the district
- Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant campus or district events
- Share progress updates and strategies with stakeholders to maximize student gains
