Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed (or eligible) as an SLP to practice in Missouri schools
- Background in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school-based setting
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to K-4 students
- Assess, diagnose, and create individual and group treatment plans
- Deliver services across essential skills, cross-category, and speech-only classrooms
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer clinical supervision, support, and guidance to assigned SLPA
- Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
