School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Spanaway, Washington

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving preschool students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Spanaway, WA area. This onsite role starts August 31, 2026, and continues through June 15, 2027, offering 35–37.5 hours per week over five days. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Washington state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but will consider strong Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Experience with preschool-aged children in school or clinical settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with educational and therapy teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Openness to working alongside and supervising SLPAs if appropriate
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to a preschool caseload, focusing on early intervention strategies
- Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, other therapists, families, and support staff
- Develop and implement engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual students’ needs
- Maintain detailed progress notes, contribute to IEP meetings, and monitor students’ progress toward their goals
- Provide consultative support and mentorship to SLPAs as needed
