You’ll be working closely with a diverse student population—PreK through 12th grade—offering specialized support to around 40 students, including some who are nonverbal and utilize low-tech AAC devices. Key Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid NJDOE Certification
- School-based experience with PreK–12th preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 40 students, including nonverbal students
- Familiarity with low-tech AAC devices is desirable
- Commitment to in-person services (no teletherapy/voco)
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language services to PreK–12th grade students
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Employ augmentative and alternative communication methods where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and report on student outcomes
