Key Qualifications:
- Valid ASHA CCC certification
- Active NJDOE Speech Language Specialist certificate
- Prior experience in a school setting, SLP evaluating and treating PreK-12 populations
- Comfort working with nonverbal students
- Experience with low-tech AAC devices strongly preferred
- Commitment to onsite, in-person service (no teletherapy options)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students across PreK-12
- Provide support for students with varied communication needs, including nonverbal children
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Prepare and implement individualized treatment plans
- Complete documentation and participate in relevant meetings
