School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Elizabeth, New Jersey

The duration of the assignment is set from October 1, 2026, through November 20, 2026, with potential for extension through the end of the semester.
Required Qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) certification
- Prior experience with school-based caseloads (PreK-12)
- Knowledge and familiarity with low-tech AAC devices preferred
- Dedication to in-person service; teletherapy not offered for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and services for PreK-12th grade students
- Evaluate, develop, and implement tailored communication strategies, including use of AAC
- Consult and collaborate with educational staff and families
- Maintain accurate documentation related to student progress and interventions
- Support smooth transitions by working with the current SLP as needed
