Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid Oregon SLP license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
- Experience working with pediatric populations or within a school setting
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CFY) welcomed
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in assessment and intervention for elementary-aged students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with school staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to elementary-level students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing diverse communication needs
- Conduct screenings, develop IEPs, and document progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support students’ academic and social growth
- Engage family members through ongoing communication about goals and progress
