Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Oregon SLP license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
  • Experience working with pediatric populations or within a school setting
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CFY) welcomed
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in assessment and intervention for elementary-aged students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with school staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to elementary-level students
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing diverse communication needs
  • Conduct screenings, develop IEPs, and document progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support students’ academic and social growth
  • Engage family members through ongoing communication about goals and progress
  • Stay current with professional best practices through continuing education and professional development
