Speech Language Pathologist in Shreveport, LA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; open to strong Clinical Fellows
- Previous school-based experience or pediatric clinical experience highly valued
- Familiarity with conducting assessments, writing IEPs, and documenting progress
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes according to school and district requirements
- Support students’ social and academic success through evidence-based interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and professional development as required
