Speech Language Pathologist in Gretna, LA

As a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll provide support across local school campuses, helping students achieve their communication goals throughout the academic year.
Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with staff and families, delivering assessments, developing individualized education plans, and providing direct therapy services. This full-time role follows the school calendar, running from August 7, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with a steady weekday schedule of 35 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for Louisiana SLP licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Successful completion of district-required drug screening and fingerprint process
- Commitment to school-based practice and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Ability to adapt to working across multiple locations (number of assigned campuses to be determined)
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations
- Provide direct therapy across varied student age groups (caseload and age range to be confirmed)
