School Speech Language Pathologist - Kenner, Louisiana

We’re seeking experienced professionals with a background in Speech-Language Pathology to join a dedicated team serving students in the New Orleans area. This is an onsite, contract opportunity running from August 7, 2026, through May 27, 2027, aligning with the school calendar for a healthy work-life balance.
Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, along with current state licensure or eligibility for licensure. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred. The assignment is full-time, offering 35 hours per week (7-hour days, Monday through Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch). Assignment to specific school sites and caseload will be provided prior to your start date.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure (required)
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based experience is a plus
- Successful completion of district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop targeted, evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Flexibility to support multiple schools if assigned
All candidates are subject to internal prescreening and district credentialing requirements. Any employment offer will be contingent upon school board contract renewal scheduled for consideration on June 3, 2026.
