Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged clients, particularly those who are medically fragile or have complex needs
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and modify approaches as needed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with families and school staff
- Comfortable providing services in a home setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication skills to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver two 45-minute sessions each week in the student’s home, focusing on strategies and exercises that target specific functional goals
- Engage with parents/guardians to coach and empower them in supporting home practice
- Document progress and adjust interventions as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Liaise with school personnel and any interdisciplinary care teams when needed
