Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but not required
- Previous experience providing SLP services in schools or similar educational environments
- Ability to establish rapport with children of elementary age
- Skilled in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and facilitating group or individual sessions
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy results
- Engage in team meetings to contribute to overall student development
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
