Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ speech and language development
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to create effective learning environments
- Provide direct therapy to students and monitor their progress
- Complete required documentation, including progress notes and IEP reports, accurately and timely
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support student success
- Educate and support families regarding students’ language development needs
