A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Lenexa, KS. This contract role offers an immediate start and runs through May 29, 2026. The caseload focuses on K-5 elementary students, with approximately 35 students to serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students in grades K-5
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Prepare detailed evaluation reports
- Write and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Facilitate and actively participate in evaluation and IEP meetings
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification (including SLPA, CCC, or CFY credentials)
- Experience working within a K-5 educational environment preferred
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and writing reports
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
