School Speech and Language Pathologist | Sequim, Washington
Make an impact in education by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. Two full-time contract positions are available, working with a diverse K-12 caseload in a vibrant school setting near the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Flexibility is offered for candidates who are available to start immediately, with interviews scheduled right after spring break (starting April 3rd).
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in Washington state (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience with a K-12 school population is ideal
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to meet students’ needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, write reports, and maintain necessary records
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services within the school setting
- Monitor and report student progress toward individualized goals
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in best practices
