Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of IEP process and familiarity with IDEA guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and compliance.
  • Offer consultation and support to teachers and staff to facilitate inclusive classroom environments.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with families to share progress and collaborate on goals.
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences.
