Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Washington State
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or youth-focused environment preferred
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and report writing
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals
- Deliver engaging group and one-on-one therapy sessions
- Monitor, track, and document progress according to regulatory and district guidelines
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and ancillary staff
- Offer guidance and advocacy for students’ communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insightful recommendations
