Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Ability to provide comprehensive speech and language services within a school setting
- Prior school-based experience preferred, but open to new graduates eager to learn and make a difference
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet students’ needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver therapy services individually or in group settings, tailored to each student’s IEP
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on student progress and goals, and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive support
- Remain current with best practices and local regulations in school-based speech-language pathology
