Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or eligibility) for SLP practice in Washington
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role a strong plus
- Ability to provide services to a diverse student population, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Capable of building rapport with students, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation services for students with speech and language needs
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with district and federal guidelines
- Work collaboratively with teams to support student success across academic and social settings
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in parent meetings and professional development activities as required
- Adapt strategies as necessary and provide resources to staff and families
