Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP process and relevant documentation
- Flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting therapy for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy in group and one-on-one settings, both in-person and virtually as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and collaborating openly with staff and parents
- Maintain up-to-date records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer consultative support and guidance to classroom teachers to promote carryover of speech and language strategies
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, fostering student growth and participation
