Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in good standing (Texas or eligibility for Texas licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, strong CFs encouraged to apply
- Prior experience working with school-age children and adolescents
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress reporting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students across grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ learning and communication
- Maintain thorough documentation, including progress notes and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families regarding speech/language development
