Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Scotts Valley, California

As a full-time SLP, you will work with an average caseload of 55 students, delivering support designed to help each learner achieve communication and academic success. This school-based role runs from August 6 through May 27 and includes a unique blend of on-campus services plus one home & hospital visit each week, offering a varied and impactful workday.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP
- Experience with pediatric clients, preferably in a school setting
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary and middle school populations
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to students
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with teachers, specialists, and families
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
- Consult with classroom teachers and school staff to support student goals
- Deliver one home & hospital based service session per week
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
