As part of your weekly routine, you’ll manage an average caseload of 55 students, providing essential speech and language services primarily within school settings, with one home & hospital service per week. Collaborate with experienced educators, families, and other professionals to create supportive, individualized learning pathways for each child.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language services within school-based settings
- Background working with elementary and/or middle school populations
- Ability to flexibly meet the needs of students in diverse environments, including both school-based and home/hospital settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop personalized intervention plans
- Deliver therapy services that address students’ unique needs
- Engage in regular communication with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation to support student progress and meet compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input for student support plans
