School Speech Language Pathologist - Annapolis, MD

Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Previous experience or clinical practicum in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Comfort working with diverse student populations and collaborating with staff and families
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school policies
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and prepare progress reports for review
- Participate in IEP and team meetings, contributing expertise for optimal student outcomes
