School Speech Language Pathologist - Bowie, MD

Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an SLP in the state of Maryland
- Experience delivering speech and language services in a school environment strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students who require speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ academic progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote best outcomes for each student
- Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation per school district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and provide consultative support when needed
