A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based teletherapy services. This role supports middle and high school students through remote speech-language therapy, facilitating effective communication development tailored to each learner's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy sessions to students requiring speech and language support within middle and high school settings
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting therapy plans as necessary to achieve individualized goals
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate speech-language strategies into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities when applicable
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing teletherapy services, particularly within school environments
- Proficiency in delivering speech-language support to adolescent students
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively via remote platforms
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet student and scheduling needs
Position Details:
- Part-time contract commitment, approximately 21 hours per week over 3 days
- Contract duration: September 8, 2026, through June 24, 2027
- Location: Remote work supporting one building’s middle and high school students in the Geneva, NY area
- Schedule flexibility is available and will be discussed during the interview process
