Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued, but strong candidates from other backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and data-driven therapy documentation
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and services rendered
- Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers and other school personnel
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
