Desired Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) Teacher certification
- Open to both CFs and CCC-SLPs
- Experience or strong interest in working in elementary and/or secondary education
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40–50 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services
- Support students’ academic and social success through targeted interventions
