Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted New Mexico SLP license (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations (K-12 strongly preferred)
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Position Highlights:
- Full-time contract role: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serve students from kindergarten through high school in a charter school setting
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized or group therapy sessions
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Counsel students and families on communication strategies and goals
- Foster a supportive, engaging atmosphere tailored to each student’s needs
