Speech Language Pathologist in Rio Rancho, NM

Desired Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico state SLP license
- Teacher Certification through NMPED
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CF) and those holding the CCC-SLP designation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students
- Experience in K-12 and working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted therapy to students at both the elementary and secondary school levels
- Document progress and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
- Support students’ communication across academic and social environments
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
