Desired Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Teacher certification from the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED)
- Open to applicants with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with elementary and/or secondary school populations preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in elementary and secondary settings
- Develop individualized service plans based on thorough assessments and student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes and IEP documentation
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure best outcomes for students
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-based support initiatives
- Utilize evidence-based practices to promote student success in communication, articulation, fluency, language, and social skills
