Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Active New Mexico state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Teacher Certification through NMPED
- Open to recently graduated Clinical Fellows (CF) as well as those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Passion for working collaboratively with students, families, and educational staff
- Strong organizational skills to manage assessments, therapy sessions, and documentation effectively
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct and consultative therapy services to students at both elementary and secondary school levels
- Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Participating in IEP meetings, staff development, and relevant school activities
