Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Passion for working with students in a school setting
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and collaboration with multicultural and multilingual populations
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement effective, individualized therapy sessions
- Participate in the IEP process, including goal setting and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Provide consultation and training for staff regarding communication techniques and interventions
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments and therapy progress
