Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
- Organizational skills for effective caseload management
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students within the school community
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services and consultative support
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
