Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active SLP-CCC, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience supporting elementary-aged children preferred
- Understanding of IEP process and ability to conduct evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
What you’ll do:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate actively in the IEP process, contributing to meetings and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and school staff regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Support students' success in both group and individual sessions
This exciting opportunity runs from September 8 to June 25, with a 35-hour workweek and a competitive rate of $50 per hour, paid weekly.
