Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with preschool or Pre-K students highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of child language development and early intervention strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse families and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate communication goals in daily routines
- Conduct progress monitoring and maintain accurate documentation
- Facilitate family involvement, sharing strategies and resources to support children at home
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
