Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Clarita, CA

As a valued member of the team, you’ll serve one to two school sites, focusing on a high school caseload. Your role will extend through the end of this school year, with the possibility of discussing summer hours or renewal for the following academic years. Ideal Experience and Skills:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology licensure in California (CFYs and experienced SLPs encouraged)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred, but not required for CFYs
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP roles highly desired
- Comfort with therapy planning, IEP development, and providing effective interventions for adolescent populations
- SLPA experience in schools or healthcare is an asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Energy, flexibility, and passion for working with high-school-aged students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to high school students
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and IEP documentation
- Provide assessments and interventions tailored to student needs
- Work directly with students, staff, and parents to promote positive outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff
