Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with a variety of communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff and families regarding speech and language disorders
- Maintain all required records with accuracy and confidentiality
